Donna Jean McCoy, 84, of Huntington, WV, better known as Nana or Auntie by her close Friends and Family, passed away on Tuesday, December 9, 2025, at Ohio State Wexner Medical Center Inpatient Hospice. She was born June 16, 1941 in Logan, WV. Preceded in death by her late Husband, John D. McCoy Sr., her Child in Love, Tahlia Bell, her granddaughter, Tia, her Grandson, Joseph “Dante” Keeton, her Great-Granddaughter, Kiana L. Keeton, her Great-Grandson, Kyson Keeton, and her Special Great-Grandson, Corbin Leonard. Her Paternal Parents, Wilbur C. Carey and Bertha L. Carey of Holden, WV, her Brother, Henry F. Carey, and her Sister, June L. Carey. Donna leaves behind her Son Serge’ C. McCoy and Wife, Tina M. McCoy; Daughter, Jonna McCoySingleton and Husband, Darren K. Singleton; her Son John D. McCoy Sr.; her Granddaughter, Davia S. McCoy and her Children: Great-Grandson Jaylan L. Dotson, Great-Granddaughter Ta’Niya S. Freeman; and Great-Grandson, Antonio D. Haughton, Grandson Keith Bell, and Grandson Christopher McCoy. Great-Granddaughter Dominique Bell-Rodrigues (Great Son-in-Law), Fernando Rodrigues, Great-Grandson Joshua Peterson, and his Son, Great-Great Grandson Dominic Peterson, Great-Granddaughter Jasmine Bell, Great-Granddaughter Ashley Bell, Great-Great Grandson Mozilla Bell, Josiah Bell, and Si Bell. Her Loving Brothers Wilber C. Carey Jr., Al Carey, and Sister Pastor Malva J. Carey, her Nieces and Nephews Darrell Carey, Lisa Carey, Michael Carey, Jimmy Carey, Paticia Carey, Erika Carey, Christina Carey, Lovell Parker, Kuemar Parker, Al Carey Jr., Vicki Carey, Joseph Carey, and Liz Carey. Donna also leaves behind her Goddaughter, Kristan Johnson, Special Friends Renee Madison and Jaqueline Johnson, along with A Host of Family Members and Friends who were Near And Dear To her Heart. Donna never met a Stranger! A Celebration of Life will be 1:00 P.M. to 3:00 P.M., Saturday, December 27, 2025 at First Baptist Church, Huntington, WV.
