Mr. David Steven Myers Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

David Steven Myers, 62 Years and 5 Months was born September 3, 1959, at Cabell Huntington Hospital in Huntington, West Virginia. He was one of seven children born to Ossie Louise Cabell and James Beecher Myers. A lifelong resident of Huntington, David received his formal education through the Cabell County Public Schools system. Something of a renascence man he enjoyed drawing, music, and poetry. David made his transition from this earthly realm on Thursday, February 3, at the same hospital where he entered this life. Along with both parents, David was preceded in death by his sister, Lottie Figg; two brothers, James and Lonnie Myers; and his twin grandchildren, Sharmony and Sarianna Glenn-Jones. Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Vanessa Myers; siblings Cecile Sexton, Jackie Foreman, Deborah Terry, and Tony Myers; daughter, Leticia (LaShanda) Glenn-Jones; nieces, Leondhi Dawn Houchins, Hope Figg, and Louise Robenette Figg; nephews, Alpheus Figg, Michael Figg, and Sydney Figg. In addition, he will be missed by a host of grand nieces and nephews, other family, and friends. “My king has departed this earth but will forever be in my heart. Thank you, Jesus, for bringing him into my life.” --Vanessa A Celebration of Life will be conducted at 1:00 P.M., Wednesday, February 9, 2022 at Ferrell-Chambers Funeral Home with Bishop Samuel R.
