Fannie “Ms. Honey” Lula Walker

August 17, 1935 - April 12, 2022

Fannie “Ms. Honey” Lula Walker, 86 of Huntington, passed-away April 12, 2022, at the Hospice House of Huntington. She was born August 17, 1935, in Bessemer, AL. She is preceded in death by her parents, Frank Scott and Ruby Williams Scott; husband, William A Walker; three sisters, Cora Lee Lawson, Azaleen Bryant and Bertha Davis; brother, Henry Clark; daughter, Debra Scott; granddaughter, Tamara Walker; nephew, Jesse Davis Jr; and niece, Donnetta Davis. Fannie was a lifelong member of Young Chapel A.M.E church and worked many years and retired from Presbyterian Manor now Heritage Center. She leaves behind to mourn her loss: sons Malcolm (Buster) Scott Sr., Anthony (Tony) Walker, William (Bill) Walker, David Walker, Lawrence (Terry) Walker. In addition, a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren; many special close friends and family, one very close and special friend and Primary Care Physician, Dr. Carolyn Curtis. Funeral services will be held 1:00 P.M., Monday, April 18, 2022, at Ferrell-Chambers Funeral Home with Reverend Oliver Banks III, Pastor, officiating. Visitation will be 12:00 P.M to 1:00 P.M, Monday, April 18, 2022. Burial will immediately follow at Spring Hill Cemetery, Huntington, WV.
