Jeffery Allen Stanley
September 14, 1967 - May 3, 2022
Jeffery Allen Stanley lost his long fight with cancer after a six year battle. He was born September 14, 1967 in West Hamlin, WV. He passed away Tuesday May 3, 2022 at 9:00 PM at Cabell Huntington Hospital. Jeff is preceded in death by his father, Jackie Lee Stanley, his mother, Suzann Richmond Stanley and his dog Rooster whom he beloved dearly. He is survived by his special aunt, Christine (Tena) Stanley Adkins who loved and cared for him though his long battle with cancer and Linda Joy Stanley Baker of Hamlin, WV. He is also survived by his dog, Pup, many cousins and a host of friends that are all going to miss him. Before Jeff became sick, he loved to hunt, fish, and ride his 4-wheeler. He loved to tell stories to make us laugh, always saying something funny. He loved telling jokes. Oh, and did Jeff love to eat all through his sickness and chemo, never losing his appetite. He always looked forward to stopping to get something to eat after his chemo and doctor appointments. It was amazing how much he could eat. At the very end, Jeff told me, “If I dont make it back home, I’ll see you on the other side.” That gives me hope that I will see him again, in a new body that will not be ravished with pain. I love you, Jeff. You will be surely missed. Ferrell-Chambers Funeral Home is assisting the family with the cremation. A grave side service to celebrate Jeff’s life will be posted at a later date. He will be laid to rest beside his mom and dad at Plumley Cemetery up Big Laurel in Branchland, WV.
