Marsheilah "Pookie" Harper

Marsheilah “Pookie” Harper Of Huntington, WV, passed-away on Sunday, April 24, 2022, at the age of Forty-Five years, Six months and Ten days. She was born on October 14, 1976, to Dorothy Ann Rinehardt and the late Tyrone Stroud. She loved to laugh and have a good time, she never met a stranger. She was a graduate of Huntington High School Class of 1994. In addition to her mother, she is survived by three children, October Harper of Huntington, WV, D’nea Harper of Huntington, WV and Myracle Harper of Huntington, WV; one brother; Kevin Myers of Huntington, WV, one sister, Lashawnda (Norman) Andrews one granddaughter, Legend Coney; aunts, Darlene Griffin, Marie Harper, Willa Cook and Annie Wilson; two uncles, Stanley (Angela) Harper and Joe Stroud; one nephew, Kevin Myers, Jr.; and one niece, Ramya Myers; special friend, Vonyetta Taylor and RoShawnda Parker, a special cousin, Nakyan Harper who was like a brother to her; and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends who loved her very much. A Memorial Service will be conducted at 2:30 P.M, Friday, May 6th, 2022 at Ferrell-Chambers Funeral Home, Huntington, WV with Rev. David Wade officiating. Visiting hours will be from 1:00 P.M to 2:30 P.M, Friday, May 6th, 2022. A balloon release in honor of Marsheilah will be conducted following the Memorial service at Ferrell-Chambers Funeral Home. The family will be hosting a repast immediately following the balloon release at the American Legion, 1421 6th Ave., Huntington, WV.
