It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Albert Lewis Riley jr. A beloved father, grandfather, son, brother, and friend, who left this world on June 2nd 2025. Albert was a vibrant spirit, known for his joyful and silly nature that brought comfort and calmness to everyone fortunate enough to know him. His infectious laughter and unique sense of humor could light up any room, often leaving others in constant laughs over the smallest of things. Albert had a profound love for his faith, often engaging in deep conversations about the Lord Jesus Christ. He was passionate about sharing his beliefs and would spend hours discussing the importance of being prepared for the return of the Lord, especially in these surreal times. His daily bread was a testament to his devotion, often tucked away in various pockets, a reminder of his unwavering faith. A man of many talents, Albert was not only a devoted follower of Christ but also a gifted dancer who could break into spontaneous dance at any moment. He had a keen interest in the news and the economy, always ready to share his insights and advice with those around him. His love for home-cooked soul food was unmatched, and he cherished family gatherings where the aroma of delicious meals filled the air, often commenting on the excitement of the moment. Albert was a man of style, taking great pride in his fashion choices. He was known for his tall, slim figure and could have easily graced the pages of a fashion magazine if he had chosen to pursue that path. His playful nature extended to family time, where he relished the joy of holidays and the laughter shared with loved ones. He is survived by his one and only daughter, Jeffri Riley, and his three cherished grandchildren: Melina, 16, Mickey, 8, and Moon, 4, who adored their grandad. Albert's love for his family was boundless, and he leaves behind his devoted mother, Kay Frances Turner (Riley), 74, his father, Albert Lewis Turner Sr., 76, his big sister, Carla Denise Younger (Riley), 59, his younger sister, Ethel Mae Turner, 52, and his brother, James Edward Turner, 43. He was preceded in death by his beloved grandparents, Linton and Ethel Riley, and John and Lucinda Turner. Albert was a hard worker, always busy and active, preferring to walk to work rather than drive. His extroverted personality made him a natural in customer service roles, where he could charm anyone into a deal. Yet, he also appreciated moments of solitude, often turning off his phone to find peace in his own company. A low-key competitor, Albert loved to run and would challenge anyone to a race, often emerging victorious without boasting. He was the subtle yet essential note in the symphony of life, leaving a lasting impact on all who knew him. Albert Riley will be deeply missed, but his spirit will live on in the hearts of his family and friends. See you at the great supper of the Lamb! You were a true son.
