Mark Anthony Washington Of Huntington, WV, Was born on October 25, 1972, to the late Elizabeth Ann Washington and the late Bill Carter. He was raised by his grandmother, Mildred Washington and grandfather, Russell Cochran, both deceased. Mark, who we knew as Marky, was well known throughout the community. Mark loved to laugh. He carried a big heart inside his little body. He would give you the shirt off his back. Mark also loved music, boxing, being with loved ones, and oh, yeah lottery tickets was one of his favorites. A master chess player, he also enjoyed music and traveling. What Mark was most proud of was being a Washington…a name he honored, respected and wore proudly. His spirit will live through the hearts of his brothers James (Sheema) Washington, of Huntington, Steven Washington of Charleston, WV, Leron Washington of Huntington, Robert (Bethanie) Glover; sister, Tress Washington of Charleston, WV; a special cousin, Stephanie Washington, longtime girlfriend that he called his wife, Renea Washington Pinson, his sister from another mother, Amber Lynn Markham and "brother from another mother", Donte. Also, remaining to cherish his memories are his aunts April Carter Dawson, Kathy Cochran, and Thelma (Lloyd) Davis; his uncles Lorenzo Washington, Porter Washington, Steve (Sharon) Washington, David (Denise) Washington, Joe (Bridget) Washington, and a host of cousins, nieces, and nephews. Marky departed from this life on January 5, 2024. In addition to both parents and both grandparents, he was preceded in death by his uncles, George Washington and Timmy Washington. He will be greatly missed by all that knew and loved him. Funeral service will be 12:30 P.M., Friday, January 19, 2024, at Full Gospel Assembly, Huntington, WV with Bishop Samuel Moore officiating. Interment will follow at Spring Hill Cemetery, Huntington, WV. Visitation will be 11:30 A.M. to 12:30 P.M., Friday, January 19, 2024, at Full Gospel Assembly, Huntington, WV.
