Sherry Lynn Corbett

It is with deep sorrow and loving remembrance that we announce the passing of Sherry Lynn (Kelly) Corbett, who departed this life Thursday May 8, 2025, at the Arbors of Carroll in Carroll, Ohio, at the age of sixty-one years, four months, and three days. Born on January 5, 1964, she was the beloved daughter of Anna Katherine (Adkins) Stephenson and the late Robert Larry Kelly Sr. In addition to her father, Sherry was preceded in death by her baby brother, Robert Larry Kelly, Jr. Sherry’s legacy lives on through the love she instilled in her family. She is survived by her devoted mother, Anna Katherine Stephenson; her cherished son, Dusten Bills (Daniel Bias) of Huntington, WV; and her beloved daughter, Carrie Hardiman (Curtis Smith) of Pataskala, Ohio. She was a proud grandmother to Elijah Ray Hardiman and Meleigha Hardiman Smith, whom she adored endlessly. She also leaves behind her loving brother, Jerry Kelly and sister-in-law, Chris Kelly of Herndon, VA, along with a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, family and friends who were fortunate enough to have known her. Sherry embraced life with unwavering passion and joy. To know her was to love her. She cared deeply for her children, guiding them with both strength and fierce love. To Sherry, Dusten was her "Beautiful Sunshine," and Carrie was her "Crazy," titles that were spoken with laughter and endless love. In her eyes, Ray and Meleigha could do no wrong—they were her heart and soul. Funeral services will be held 12:00 P.M., Tuesday, May 13, 2025, at Ferrell-Chambers Funeral Home, 924 20th Street, Huntington, WV, with Minister Jason Cook, officiating, visitation will take place one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Sherry’s light, love, and laughter will be deeply missed but never forgotten. In the hearts of those who loved her, she will live on forever especially her earthly angels who were with her until moments before her passing, her nurses, Heather, Tammy and Leigh. The family wishes to extend sincere gratitude and love to the residents and employees at the Arbors at Carroll. She loved you fiercely. A Special Thank you to her Son-In-Law Curt Smith for his kindness and thoughtfulness. It's clear that his actions made a real difference in Sherry's life, and the love she had for him speaks volumes about the bond they shared.
